Ray Johnson and Anthony Jamison scored 12 points apiece to lead a balanced attack, and Ephrata closed the game on a 16-11 run Monday night and the host Mountaineers edged Manheim Central 48-44 in a non-league boys' basketball game in Ephrata.

Josh Norton added 11 points and Justin Lausch had 10 points for Ephrata, which led 21-19 at the half, and then held off the hard-charging Barons down the stretch.

Josh Robeson scored a game-high 18 points to pace Manheim Central.

Also Monday:

Governor Mifflin 41, Manheim Township 29
Zach Jeznach scored 12 points, Javar Colon chipped in with 10 points, and the Mustangs opened the game on a 15-7 run and raced past the host Blue Streaks.

Tyler Mitchell scored 12 points for Manheim Township, which trailed 22-14 at the break, and never caught the Mustangs.
